A lot of my students find it hard to pronounce the sounds /v/, the schwa, and the long "a" sound. So, in this video, let's practice saying the word, "vacation" together! Plus, get to learn how to say it in Filipino! Learn and enjoy watching! ^^
It was after I visited Jeonju when I learned it is the considered the City of Culture in South Korea. ^^ My friend and I met another friend who works at the museum as a curator. So we had a better tour around Jeonju since he knows a lot about the significant events of Jeonju and Korean History. First stop is the museum. -o- and then to Hanok Maeul (Folk Village/Village with traditional Korean houses).. -o- and 전동성당 Jeondong Catholic Church. -o- After the very long day and the very long walk, we had sundae soup 순대국 at a nearby local market. I know Jeonju Bibimbap is the favorite dish there but one local thought differently..So we tried this..another favorite. :) Mine looked something like this because I chose the not-spicy one. ^^ (Disclaimer: This pic is from Wikipedia.) -o- There are still many things to see in Jeonju.
